Position Title: PRP Assistant Director

JOB DESCRIPTION:
The Assistant Director will be responsible for supporting the agency's efforts to establish and maintain
relationships with community organizations and members of the community in order to increase behavioral
health awareness, resources partnerships, and client referrals. The individual in this role will leverage both
personal experience and professional networks to promote company visibility within Baltimore City/County and
surrounding communities through community outreach.
SCHEDULED DUTIES:
? Maintain an in-depth understanding of COMAR regulations regarding Psychiatric Rehabilitation
Program
? Identify and implement strategies to establish and/or maintain partnerships with other organizations
? Provide psychoeducation to individuals and community members on behavioral health and how the
services offered by BGTPS can address these issues in order to increase agency's awareness and
encourage referrals
? Guide staff on how to utilize their own network to increase company awareness and encourage referrals
? Assist staff to identify and access resources needed for their clients by collaborating with stakeholders to
secure resources, and then disseminating the information to staff
? Participate in presentations with referring partners, utilizing personal knowledge and experience to
create an impactful and meaningful impression
? Assist with planning and executing company and community events, especially for generating staff
participation and community attendance
? Support initiatives for increasing staff engagement and teamwork
? Meet and communicate regularly with the Program Director to discuss progress and plan accordingly
? Strategic Plan with Director for the 6 month Outreach Plan and measure progress
? Reinforce company policies; COMAR regulatory requirements and other regulatory agency
requirements
? Assist with ensuring staff compliance with BGTPS policies and procedures
? Attend community resource fairs and/or other networking opportunities if available
? Prepare and distribute marketing correspondence via email, postal main, in-person and through
presentations
? Support social media initiatives and promotional campaigns
? Identify and oversee monthly group activities
? Navigate resources for staff, clients and community partners
? Attend and participate in required trainings and team meetings
? Maintain a caseload of 15 clients
? Other duties may be assigned

adolescents, and their families

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
? Bachelor's Degree in Social Work, Human Service, Psychology, or Counseling required
? 2 years of behavioral health experience in outpatient setting

Pay: From $25.00 per hour
Expected hours: 24 per week
