As a Proxy Care Giver, you will ensure that each individual receives respectful, attentive care.

Duties

Act as a proxy for primary caregivers by assisting with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support Monitor residents' health status by observing vital signs, medication adherence, and overall well-being; report any concerns immediately Support residents with meal preparation, Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards within the living environment by performing light housekeeping tasks and sanitation procedures Document care activities accurately while adhering to HIPAA regulations to ensure privacy and confidentiality Engage with residents in social activities or therapeutic exercises to promote mental stimulation and emotional well-being

Qualifications

Prior experience working in group homes, assisted living facilities, nursing homes, or home & community care settings is highly preferred Knowledge of patient observation techniques, medication administration, and vital signs monitoring Certification in CPR and First Aid and Caregiver Fire Safety is required; we can arrange for those trainings if necessary documenting care accurately Compassionate attitude
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $10.00 - $13.00 per hour

Expected hours: 12.0 - 40.0 per week
