About the Role

We're looking for a Protection & Control Field Engineer who's ready to spend most of their time in the field testing and commissioning high-voltage substations throughout the Pacific Northwest;

What You'll Do

Test and commission Protection & Control systems on substations (15 kV-500 kV). Perform hands-on relay testing with Omicron or Doble equipment (SEL and GE relays). Support project leads and follow all safety and documentation procedures. Read and interpret electrical drawings and schematics. Complete reports, timecards, and expenses accurately.

What You'll Need

5 years of experience testing medium/high-voltage electrical systems. Strong knowledge of protective relays (SEL, Basler, Beckwith, GE). Skilled with Omicron/Doble test sets and related software (ENOSERV RTS, Test Universe, AcSELerator). Familiar with NETA, IEEE, and NFPA standards. Able to lift 50+ lbs and work long days in the field. Must pass drug, background, and MVR screenings. Valid driver's license and insurable record.

Nice to Have

Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field. Experience with electromechanical relays, CTs, CCVTs, PLCs, and DC systems. Knowledge of IEC 61850 protocol testing.
