MCM manages all phases of projects from programming to implementation and from pre-construction to post construction.

Job Overview




MCM is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Proposal Coordinator to join our team. The Proposal Coordinator will be responsible for creating compelling proposals, qualifications packages, and other written materials that effectively communicate our capabilities and expertise to potential clients. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction management, excellent writing skills, and the ability to collaborate with various stakeholders.

Responsibilities will include the following:



Maintain and update a library of proposal templates and other supporting materials. Ensure that all proposal content aligns with company branding and messaging standards. Work closely with various business development and marketing teams to develop strategies for proposal submissions. Participate in proposal strategy meetings to outline key themes and messages for each proposal. Prepare and review proposals and presentations for accuracy, grammar, and clarity before submission. Ensure compliance with all submission requirements and deadlines. Gather feedback on submitted proposals to identify areas for improvement. Stay current with industry trends, best practices, and competitive analysis to enhance proposal content. Attend pre-proposal/walk-through/kickoff conferences as needed.

Skills



Research and analyze Requests for Proposals to understand client needs and requirements. Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other team members to gather relevant information for proposals. Write, edit, and format high-quality proposals and qualifications documents that clearly articulate our company's strengths and differentiators. Experience in graphic design, marketing, communications, or architecture/interior design. Experience in creating compelling, polished and engaging layouts.

Qualifications



Bachelor's degree in English, Communications, Marketing, or a related field. Proven experience as a proposal writer, technical writer, or in a similar role, preferably in the construction or engineering industry. Strong understanding of construction management processes and terminology. Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills with a keen attention to detail. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Adobe InDesign and proposal management software. Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
