Job Title: Property Manager

As a Property Manager, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth operation and management of residential properties. Your expertise will shine as you oversee property leasing, maintenance, and tenant relations, creating an environment where both residents and properties thrive. You'll be the driving force behind effective property management practices, ensuring compliance with regulations and fostering positive relationships with tenants.

What you'll do

Manage all aspects of property leasing, including marketing, showing units, and processing applications. Assist maintenance manager oversee property maintenance activities to ensure a safe and pleasant living environment for tenants. Handle tenant inquiries and complaints with exceptional customer service and conflict management skills. Ensure compliance with Fair Housing regulations and landlord-tenant law to protect both tenants and the property. Utilize software system Propertyware Conduct regular inspections of properties to assess conditions and identify necessary repairs or improvements. Implement sales strategies to upsell available units or services to prospective tenants. The management office is located in Oak Park, IL but the properties you'll be managing are spread out in the southside of Chicago and South Suburbs.

Additional Income

On top of salary, you'll receive a $400 per unit commission for any unit leased. This commission can lead to $1,000-$2,000 additional income per month

Qualifications

Excellent customer service skills with a focus on relationship building. Property management experience not necessary but preferred

Pay: $50,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
