Position Summary
The Property Manager will be responsible for supervising community operations, handling resident inquiries, coordinating home rentals, enforcing policies, overseeing maintenance scheduling, and ensuring the community is well-maintained. This role requires strong leadership, communication skills, and the ability to stay organized in a fast-paced environment.
Schedule
Monday-Friday: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Rotating Saturdays: 10:00 AM - 2:00 PM
Key Responsibilities
Manage daily operations for a mobile home community of up to
300 units
Handle leasing, move-ins, and move-outs
Show available homes and manage rental applications
Collect rent, post notices, and maintain accurate records
Maintain and update resident files and occupancy reports
Enforce community rules, regulations, and lease agreements
Provide excellent customer service and promptly address resident concerns
Schedule maintenance requests and communicate with the maintenance team
Perform regular community and home inspections
Manage vendors, quotes, and work orders
Oversee community cleanliness, curb appeal, and safety standards
Track budgets, expenses, and financial reports
Prepare homes for rent and coordinate make-ready schedules
Assist with community events, marketing, and resident retention strategies
Maintain professional communication with ownership and upper management
Train and oversee any on-site staff as needed
Requirements
Previous property management experience is required
(mobile home community experience preferred)
Ability to manage up to
300 homes
Must have
reliable transportation
Must have a
working smartphone
for communication and field work
Strong knowledge of
Google Sheets
, Google Drive, and basic computer programs
Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
Ability to handle conflict, enforce policies, and manage multiple tasks at once
Must be dependable, professional, and able to work independently
Strong time-management skills
Ability to walk the community for inspections regularly
Bilingual is a plus, but not required
