Since Iron Door Management's inception in 2009, we have been working hard to build something special in the multifamily space. Over the past several years, we've grown to manage over 1,700 units across the Kansas City area Florida, and Virginia... and we're just getting started! Our focus is simple: create places people love to call home while delivering solid results for property owners.

About This Role



We are looking for a highly motivated and resourceful Property Manager to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will will have exceptional communication and management skills, backed by comprehensive property management expertise and a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:



Financial Management



Achieve financial objectives through efficient rent collection and expense management Review and approve maintenance, repair, and make-ready expenses Monitor and analyze property financial performance

Property Operations



Investigate and resolve tenant complaints promptly and professionally Enforce occupancy rules and community standards Conduct thorough vacant unit inspections and coordinate timely repairs Plan and oversee property renovations and improvements Manage vendor relationships for landscaping, snow removal, and maintenance services

Building Systems & Security



Contract and supervise maintenance services for all building systems Establish and enforce security policies and emergency procedures Respond to emergency situations as needed

Reporting & Compliance



Prepare comprehensive reports through data collection, analysis, and trend identification Ensure compliance with Fair Housing Standards, HUD regulations, and Section 8 Housing requirements Maintain accurate records and documentation

Professional Development



Stay current with industry best practices through continuing education Participate in professional organizations and networking opportunities Contribute to organizational growth through innovative problem-solvingThis individual would need the following skills to succeed in this role: Review and approve maintenance, repair, and make-ready expenses Monitor and analyze property financial performance

Required Qualifications



Minimum 5 years

of property management experience or equivalent education/experience combination

Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish

(required) Strong customer service background with proven track record Excellent written and verbal communication skills Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) Thorough knowledge of Fair Housing Standards, HUD regulations, and Section 8 Housing Strong organizational skills with ability to prioritize multiple tasks effectively Problem-solving mindset with attention to detail Bachelor's degree

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $55,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
