Responsibilities



Assist with lease administration, including property leasing processes, tenant screening, and move-in/move-out procedures Support property maintenance coordination by scheduling repairs, tracking work orders, and liaising with maintenance teams Manage data entry and filing of legal documents, contracts, and property records using Appfolio software system Ensure compliance with Fair Housing regulations, Section 8 guidelines, and landlord-tenant law through diligent recordkeeping and communication Handle customer service inquiries via phone and email with professionalism and empathy; resolve tenant concerns promptly Support rent collection efforts, including processing payments, upselling additional services or amenities, and maintaining accurate financial records Assist in conflict management by mediating tenant disputes and coordinating resolution strategies in accordance with legal standards

Skills



Knowledge of Section 8 housing programs, and Fair Housing regulations Computer experience using excel Demonstrated customer service skills with effective phone etiquette and relationship management abilities Familiarity with property maintenance procedures, facilities management practices, and data entry accuracy Managing conflicts professionally; adept at filing legal documents and maintaining organized records Office experience combined with strong administrative skills such as filing, data entry, and document management
