Property Maintenance Technician

Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated Property Maintenance Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the overall upkeep and maintenance of our properties. This role requires a proactive individual with a keen eye for detail and a strong work ethic. On call hours are as needed, which would include weekends. Driver's license is required, and a company vehicle will be provided.

Holiday, Health. Dental, Vision, are available upon 90 days of employment. 401(k) and paid time off available after 1 year of service

Responsibilities:

- Perform routine maintenance tasks such as repairing drywall, painting, and fixing plumbing issues

- Conduct regular inspections to identify any maintenance needs and address them promptly

- Respond to tenant maintenance requests in a timely and efficient manner

- Keep accurate records of maintenance activities and report any major issues to management

- Assist with landscaping duties including mowing, trimming, and planting as needed, as well as plowing and salting in the winter months

- Ensure all safety protocols are followed while performing maintenance tasks

Skills:

- Proven experience in property maintenance or a related field

- Strong knowledge of general maintenance procedures and techniques

- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently

- Good communication skills to interact effectively with tenants and team members

- Physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy objects when necessary

-Ability to work up to 8 hours in the heat, or in the cold as necessary
