About the Role

The Maintenance Technician is responsible for maintaining the safety, functionality, and appearance of the property. This role performs repairs, completes service requests, prepares vacant units for move-in, and ensures all work meets company standards for quality and timeliness.

Key Responsibilities

Complete daily work orders, including light plumbing, electrical, drywall, painting, and appliance repair. Turn vacant units, including patching drywall, painting, replacing fixtures, basic electrical/plumbing and ensuring move-in readiness. Perform preventative maintenance on equipment and building systems. Maintain grounds, common areas, and shared spaces to company standards. Assist in coordinating larger repairs (HVAC, sewer, etc.) with vendors and verify work completion. Respond to after-hours emergency calls Document work performed and communicate status updates to management and residents.

Qualifications

2-4 years of property maintenance or related experience required. Proficient in troubleshooting and completing basic plumbing, electrical, and general repairs. Must have own basic tools; company provides specialty tools and equipment. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required. Must be able to lift, climb, kneel, and work both indoors and outdoors.

Compensation and Benefits

Hourly rate:

$30-$35 DOE
