Job Summary

The Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the maintenance team at a large condominium in Miramar, Florida and ensuring that all equipment and facilities are operating efficiently and safely. This role requires a strong understanding of mechanical, electrical, HVAC, and plumbing systems, as well as communication and leadership skills to manage a diverse team. The ideal candidate will possess project management abilities. The Maintenance Supervisor reports directly to the Community Association Manager.

Duties

Supervise and lead the maintenance team in daily operations, ensuring adherence to safety protocols and best practices. Conduct regular inspections of equipment and facilities to identify areas needing repair or improvement. Manage maintenance schedules, prioritizing tasks based on urgency and impact on operations. Oversee the fabrication of parts and components as needed for repairs or upgrades. Utilize mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot issues related to electrical, HVAC, and plumbing systems. Implement project management techniques to oversee maintenance projects from inception to completion. Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities. Train and mentor team members on best practices in maintenance procedures and safety standards.

Qualifications

Proven experience in a maintenance supervisory role or similar position. Strong mechanical knowledge with experience in electrical, HVAC, and plumbing systems. Familiarity with a wide range of tools. Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to manage a diverse team effectively. Experience with project management principles and practices. Excellent problem-solving skills with a focus on safety and efficiency. Ability to communicate effectively with team members at all levels of the organization. Must be bilingual.
Pay: From $50,000.00 per year
