Join the Fido Team as a Property Inspector & Maintenance Contractor

Fido specializes in property inspections, trash and waste management, and operational support for clients, including short-term rental operators, property managers, and other real estate professionals. Our services streamline operations to ensure properties are always guest-ready.

We're currently seeking

independent contractors

to perform inspections, maintenance, and other property-related tasks. This is a flexible role, but

reliable availability during assigned times is critical, especially during volume spikes at the beginning and end of each month.

What You'll Do:

Conduct property inspections using a smartphone app, completing detailed forms, taking photos, and recording videos as instructed. Pick up keys and supplies from client offices and deliver them to properties. Set up lockboxes in designated locations following provided instructions, and document the process with photos and videos. Perform maintenance tasks, including retrieving items from storage, delivering them to properties, repairing furniture, and ensuring units are ready for guests.

Compensation:

$30 per inspection:

~1-hour tasks, including completing forms, setting up lockboxes, taking photos, and recording videos.

$10 per lockbox placement:

Secure and install lockboxes as instructed.

$10 per key pick-up:

Collect keys from client offices and deliver them to properties.

$30/hour for maintenance work:

Tasks include moving items from storage, repairing furniture, and ensuring units are ready for new occupants.

What We're Looking For:

You'd be a great fit if you:

Have a flexible schedule with reliable availability, particularly during high-volume periods at the beginning and end of each month. Understand the commitment required for a contractor role, showing up reliably when scheduled. Own a dependable vehicle with valid registration and insurance. Are comfortable using smartphone apps to document and report tasks. Have strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently. Are physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs when needed.
