Property Accountant - Residential Real Estate
Who: A growing residential real estate firm seeking an experienced accounting professional.

Position Overview:
The Property Accountant will be responsible for managing accurate and timely accounting and financial reporting functions across a portfolio of residential properties.
Key Responsibilities:
? Ensure accurate accounting for all property transactions and records
? Maintain recurring accounting schedules and reporting calendars
? Prepare monthly financials including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow reports
? Reconcile all bank accounts and ledger entries with supporting documentation
? Assist with year-end audits, reports, and tax preparations
? Maintain and update general ledger through journal entries and reconciliations
Qualifications:
? Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
? Minimum 3 years of accounting experience, ideally in real estate or property management
? Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting principles
? Highly organized with a strong attention to detail
? Proficient in Excel and property management/accounting software
