Electrical controls, PLC and HMI programming, industrial safety, and pneumatic and hydraulic solutions. A division of Skarda Equipment Company, a Certified Power Company.


This position is responsible for the assembly and wiring of industrial control panels.

Start Date

: ASAP

Schedule:

Monday - Friday

Hours:

7:30 AM - 4:30 PM

Hours may vary during training and may become flexible after the training period

Pay Rate

: $22-$26/hour

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Read wiring diagrams and panel layout drawings Assemble control panels per the layout drawings Wire control panels according to wiring diagrams Drill and cut holes in panels for mounting various components Assist in the fabrication and assembly of all projects

SKILLS DESIRED:

2+ years of similar experience High mechanical aptitude Strong attention to detail Experience with motor controls and Variable Frequency Drives Experience with AutoCAD or similar programs Experience with hydraulic and pneumatic systems Manufacturing environment experience Ability to interact professionally with customers and outside sales personnel Ability to read and interpret schematics, diagrams, and manuals Ability to design and build control panels and modify existing controls per customer request Ability to work independently or as part of a team with minimal supervision Familiarity with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, etc.) Willingness to learn and accept constructive feedback

Degree not required Must have some electrical experience and be able to read electrical schematics
