Position Summary

The Project Support I role is an entry-level position designed for individuals with a foundational understanding of technology and a willingness to learn. This position provides hands-on training while supporting a wide range of IT and low-voltage installation projects. You will work closely with the Project Support Manager and other team members to install, configure, and maintain various systems at client sites, ensuring a professional, efficient, and customer-focused experience.

Key Responsibilities

Install and configure firewalls, desktops, laptops, and servers. Set up and configure VOIP phone systems. Perform data migrations and serverless migrations. Install and configure wireless access points and point-to-point systems. Assist in VLAN configurations for networks. Set up and configure cameras and access control systems. Complete basic wiring and cabling tasks. Prep and stage equipment for upcoming projects. Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment on-site and in the office. Provide professional customer service and clear communication during client interactions. Follow all company safety policies and procedures, including ladder use and lifting practices.

Qualifications

Required:

Basic technical knowledge of computer hardware, networking, or related systems. Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies. Strong customer service and communication skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Comfortable using ladders, lifting equipment (up to 50 lbs), and working in tight spaces. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

Preferred:

CompTIA Network+ or A+ certification. Previous experience in IT support, low-voltage wiring, or related fieldwork.

Work Environment & Schedule

Primary Location:

Field work at client sites, with some office-based preparation. Limited Remote Work.

Schedule:

Standard business hours (Monday-Friday).

On-Call Availability:

Optional, with additional pay opportunities. *

Travel:

No overnight travel required.
