An international general contractor is currently looking for a

Project Superintendent

to join their team in the Columbus, OH area. This is a full-time and direct-hire role.

Project Superintendent Responsibilities:

Oversee and supervises the daily construction activities to make sure the completion of the projects Work with and direct all the field workers (contractors, suppliers, and vendors, etc.) Maintain the project schedules and solve issues and problems as needed Make sure that all the safety policy and contract conditions are adhered through trainings and meetings Order materials and coordinate inspections as needed Assist the Project Manager with all the necessary duty Prepare and keep documents and logs Other duties as assigned

Project Superintendent Requirements:

5 years of experience in general contracting and project management Familiarity with standard concepts and practices in the construction field Good communication skill (verbally and written) Good organizational skill Technical knowledge related to the construction field activities This position will not support visa sponsorship or relocation expenses. While performing the duties of this job you may be required to intermittently sit, stand, walk, lift up to 25 pounds, lift in excess of 25 pounds with a lift assist, climb stairs, use hands to handle or feel parts/equipment, reach with hands and arms, stoop, kneel, crouch, bend at the waist, talk and hear. You may also be required to use close vision, distance vision, color vision, depth perception, and peripheral vision.
