driven and experienced Superintendent

to lead our field teams and deliver high-quality, complex civil projects.



This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, boots-on-the-ground environment and has a deep understanding of heavy civil construction, particularly wet utilities (water, sewer, storm drain). You'll be the critical link between project plans and execution, ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently, and with the highest standard of quality.

Your Role as a Superintendent at TCCE:

Lead and manage field crews (Foremen, Operators, Laborers) across multiple job sites Collaborate closely with Project Managers and Engineers to schedule and organize work Supervise daily site operations to ensure safety, budget, and timelines are met Coordinate with clients, general contractors, subcontractors, and vendors Identify and resolve field issues proactively, adapting to project needs in real time Enforce quality control procedures and safety regulations Represent Total Civil in client and strategy meetings Track documentation, generate field reports, and support billing coordination

What We're Looking For:

7+ years of hands-on experience

in heavy civil construction (wet utilities required) Strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to guide and motivate crews Knowledge of erosion and sediment control, construction standards, and OSHA compliance Ability to interpret drawings, specs, and contract documents Detail-oriented with strong time management and problem-solving skills Tech-savvy and experienced with

Procore, Heavy Job, Microsoft Office (Outlook, Teams, etc.)

Valid driver's license and personal vehicle for travel to local job sites (DC, MD, VA)
