Job Description

Edison Chouest Offshore is now taking applications for a Project Production Planner at LaShip in Houma, LA.



The Project Production Planner is part of the Project Management Office and supports vessel programs by developing build strategies, coordinating resources, and aligning procurement and production activities across ECO Shipyards. This role ensures production readiness, balanced yard capacity, and integration with digital planning systems.

Key Responsibilities

Develop build strategies and detailed work breakdown structures. Forecast manpower, craft, and subcontractor requirements. Coordinate production sequencing across ECO Shipyards Provide schedule dates for the MRP (Material Requirements Planning) process to ensure timely material procurement and production readiness. Integrate planning with procurement and logistics to maintain material and equipment availability. Serve as digital planning system super-user, ensuring accurate data, training, and process improvement within the PMO.

Qualifications

3-7 years of shipbuilding or heavy fabrication planning experience. Knowledge of MRP, production control, and project coordination processes. Strong collaboration skills across multiple teams and yards.
