This position provides comprehensive support to the Radiological Site Services (RSS) organization by managing and facilitating the Hanford Radiological Records Program (HRRP), material and test equipment (M&TE) program, special dosimetry and radiological instrumentation projects. Reporting directly to the Radiological Instrumentation and Records Manager, the candidate works closely with the organizations Health Physicists, other Program/Project Managers, Operations Support Specialists, and Other Hanford Contractors through radiological committees to implement and modernize radiological services to the Site moving into the second half of the Hanford lifetime.
The successful candidate will be responsible for multiple jobs and duties including, but not limited to:
Overseeing the HRRP.
Representing the HRRP at the Hanford Personnel Dosimetry Advisory Committee (HPDAC).
Facilitating implementation of radiological exposure database replacement.
Facilitating and managing dosimetry operations digitization of records and processes.
Managing the RSS M&TE program.
Collaborating with the Instrumentation Program Manager to facilitate inventory and operations support.
Facilitating intra-organizational skill cross training.
Collaborating with SMEs for data review and technical assistance as needed.
Participating in assessments or audits as needed.
Technical writer for procedures, guidance documents, and/or program manuals.
Facilitating conflict resolution by identifying issues and potential resolutions and notifying the Instrumentation and Records Manager if an impasse is reached.
Applying creative techniques to maintain focus and ensure effective collaboration within teams.
Basic Qualifications
Bachelor's degree plus 8 years experience or equivalent combination of education and related experience.
Experience in developing and implementing projects or programs.
Demonstrated understanding of radiological dosimetry operations and records.
Ability to appropriately prioritize and organize work.
Proficient use of basic computer applications.
Ability to obtain and maintain a Personal Identity Verification (PIV) Credential badge.
Desired Qualifications
*Experience with technical dosimetry data review.
Experience working with running database reports.
Experience working with and facilitating procurement processes.
