Job Title: Project Manager - Steel Welding & Manufacturing

We are committed to craftsmanship, efficiency, and delivering exceptional results to our customers. We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Project Manager to join our team.

Position Overview

The Project Manager oversees the full project flow--from ordering materials and scheduling and overseeing production, to applying shop labor, monitoring quality control, and coordinating final shipment or delivery. This role requires strong coordination skills, technical knowledge of steel manufacturing processes, and the ability to maintain an organized and efficient job environment.

Key Responsibilities

Purchase materials

and coordinate with vendors to ensure timely delivery and cost-effective procurement.

Maintain project schedules

, monitor progress, and adjust plans to meet deadlines.

Direct labor teams

to maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.

Interpret and work from blueprints

, drawings, and project specifications to perform quality control. Apply

math skills

for measurements, estimations, and project planning. Demonstrate exceptional

attention to detail

in all aspects of project oversight. Utilize

computer systems and software

for scheduling, documentation, reporting, and communication. Work closely with

upper management and design teams

to ensure project accuracy and alignment with customer expectations. Communicate effectively with production staff, management, and customers. Support continuous improvement in workflow, safety, and quality.

Qualifications

Experience in steel fabrication, welding, or manufacturing environments (preferred). Prior project management, shop management, or supervisory experience. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints. Strong mathematical, analytical, and organizational skills. Proficiency with computers and project management tools. Excellent communication and leadership skills. Ability to multitask and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Pay: $32.00 - $36.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
