Visit Seattle is a private, non-profit destination marketing organization (DMO) serving Seattle and King County. We exist to responsibly grow the visitor economy for the benefit of the community.

About the Role





We're seeking a highly organized, results-oriented Marketing Project Manager to drive the coordination and execution of marketing initiatives. This role combines strategic oversight with hands-on support - someone who can plan and manage projects while also stepping in to handle critical details. The focus will be on external marketing efforts, and the position includes managing a Project Coordinator responsible for enablement materials produced by our internal creative team.



On any given day, you might be project managing an ad campaign or World Cup promotion with our external agency, coordinating hotel and museum participation in cultural events, and/or determining how to help streamline process with our internal creative team.



The ideal candidate is a great communicator who is solution oriented, positive, and passionate about Seattle. You can adapt quickly to changing priorities and step in to resolve last minute logistical challenges. You are comfortable driving clarity in complex, fast-paced environments, optimizing processes, influencing cross-functional partners, and getting stuff done. Your work will directly contribute to the success of Visit Seattle's marketing strategy and ultimately have an impact on the economic health of our city.

You'll

Do





Own the executional planning and delivery of key marketing projects (including campaigns, content, and events), balancing oversight with hands-on execution. Partner closely with cross-functional teams and outside agencies, vendors and partners to ensure every project is high quality and delivered on time, and on budget. Oversee project prioritization, resource allocation and process optimization. Manage the detailed execution of external events in partnership with our marketing managers. Perform essential logistical tasks to support project success (e.g., coordinating print jobs, picking up materials, delivering merchandise, etc.) Proactively identify and remove roadblocks, escalating issues where appropriate to keep projects on track Ensure alignment of deliverables, dependencies, resource management and timelines across internal and external teams. Lead regular project status meetings and provide clear communication to stakeholders about progress, risks, and outcomes for large initiatives. Provide guidance and mentorship to direct report to support their growth and ensure high-quality work, while managing performance through thoughtful goals, ongoing feedback, and formal reviews.




Qualifications






A minimum of 5 years' experience in project management, preferably within a marketing department. Proven inclusive leadership experience, with a strong track record of managing, developing, and supporting a direct report. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work collaboratively across departments and with external stakeholders. Demonstrates exceptional communication skills to keep stakeholders informed with clear, timely, and real?time updates throughout the project lifecycle. Strong organizational, time management and multi-tasking skills. Demonstrated ability to manage multiple, concurrent projects with competing deadlines in a fast paced and collaborative environment. Results orientation with a strong sense of accountability. Able to work efficiently and accurately with minimal supervision. Strong service approach with both internal and external customers. Consistently positive attitude and professional demeanor.

Our benefits are always evolving, though here's a peek into your perks:



You'll have 15 days of Paid Time Off to start, with 12 paid office holidays and 1 Personal Holiday. You'll have 100% medical, dental, and vision coverage paid for by Visit Seattle. In addition, Visit Seattle will cover 75% of premium for family coverage. You'll receive an organization-paid ORCA card, and subsidized parking in the building's garage (restrictions apply). You'll be reimbursed for monthly cell phone expenses. You'll receive 401(k) with up to a 5% organization match. Base salary range: $81,000 - $105,000 plus an annual incentive. Compensation decisions are based on experience and scope of responsibility.
