This role will be responsible for managing the full project lifecycle, ensuring seamless coordination between internal teams, including Solutions, Engineering, and Legal departments. The Project Manager will ensure that technical specifications are aligned with business needs, manage the execution of projects in compliance with applicable contracts, Terms & Conditions (T&C), and any necessary legal documentation This customer facing position requires strong communication skills, a technical background, and a keen understanding of legal processes related to contracts and compliance. Travel is required for this position.
General Accountabilities & Responsibilities:
Project Monitoring & Coordination
+ Lead and manage projects from the ground up, ensuring that all project phases (initiation, planning, execution, closure) are completed on time, within budget, and aligned with client requirements.
+ Develop detailed project plans, including timelines, resources, deliverables, and milestones.
+ Track and monitor project progress, resolve issues, and adjust plans as necessary to ensure successful project completion.
+ Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment on project goals, timelines, and expectations.
Coordination of Technical Specifications
+ Collaborate closely with the Solutions and Engineering teams to define, document, and ensure the successful implementation of technical specifications.
+ Ensure that technical teams fully understand project requirements, scope, and deadlines, and work with them to resolve any technical challenges that arise.
+ Serve as the main point of contact between the technical teams and other project stakeholders, ensuring clear communication and smooth collaboration.
Contract and Legal Coordination
+ Partner with the Global Legal team to review, develop, and finalize contracts, ensuring that all project-related agreements (including service contracts, NDAs, and T&Cs) meet both legal and business requirements.
+ Ensure that contract details such as deliverables, timelines, pricing, and service levels are accurately captured in the project documentation.
+ Work with Legal to ensure that all project contracts and legal agreements are properly executed and comply with company policies, regulatory requirements, and industry standards.
+ Coordinate contract amendments or revisions as necessary to accommodate project changes and keep stakeholders informed of any modifications.
Risk Management & Compliance:
+ Identify and assess contractual risks, providing actionable advice and solutions to mitigate any potential issues.
+ Ensure that all project contracts, NDAs, and proposals are fully compliant with company policies, industry regulations, and legal requirements.
+ Proactively manage contractual changes and amendments, ensuring that all modifications are clearly documented and agreed upon by all parties.
Stakeholder & Client Management:
+ Maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including internal departments (engineering, legal, finance) and external customers, suppliers, and partners.
+ Ensure that all contractual obligations are understood by clients and internal teams, addressing any questions or concerns promptly.
+ Support the delivery of customer expectations by acting as a key point of contact for all contractual and commercial matters
Program Management:
+ Lead end-to-end planning and execution of enterprise programs related system modernization initiatives.
+ Define program scope, objectives, timelines, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders and technical teams.
+ Manage multiple, concurrent project workstreams under a larger program structure.
+ Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for seamless execution.
Reporting & Documentation:
+ Maintain a comprehensive record of all contracts, amendments, and relevant communication.
+ Generate and maintain accurate reporting on the status of contracts, project milestones, and any potential risks.
+ Provide senior management with regular updates on project status, including potential challenges, opportunities, and project performance metrics.
Job Qualifications:
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Project Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field. PMP or equivalent project management certification is a plus
Experience:
Experience in the mass transit / railroad industry is preferred but not mandatory.
4+ years of experience in project management, with experience in technical project coordination and legal contract management.
Strong background in coordinating technical specifications and working with engineering or development teams.
