The Project Manager reports to the Director and/or the Vice President of Operations. The Project Manager is responsible for the daily management, supervision, coordination, and successful completion of projects assigned to them to meet time and cost objectives with respect to contracting, scheduling, installation, contract administration, and invoicing functions.
Overall planning for construction of the project (includes working with graphic designers, engineers, architects, permit expeditors/municipalities and general contractors/associated traits)
Solicit and obtain bids from multiple subcontractors
Negotiation skills is a plus due to the level of engagement when it comes to financial forecasting. There is a structured system in place to assist in succeeding in this area.
Issue subcontractors purchase orders, follow up on job progress, and prepare subcontractor invoices for payment in a timely manner
Prepare detailed project completion progress schedules for subcontractors and clients based upon required Service Level Agreements
Secure properly executed subcontract and purchase order agreements, insurance certificates, bonds, permits, and other documents as required
Assist the shop to ensure the project is constructed in accordance with the contract requirements and specifications
Participate in regularly scheduled customer project process conference calls
Possess working knowledge of all project plans, specifications, and contract
Working knowledge of processing of invoices and payment through to subcontractor for amounts due
Document potential schedule delays and promptly notify supervision to submit request for extension of time and/or additional costs per terms of the Contract
Maintaining awareness of all problem areas that arise during projects
Coordinate installer teams for all locations in a given project and work with local sites to satisfy any protocol and ensure safe & efficient service transactions
Occasional travel to installation sites to oversee the installation of signs and or to quality check the installation of signs as needed

Education Requirement - Minimum of 4-year degree (or equivalent experience)
Computer Skills - Proficient in MS Office Suite and the ability to learn proprietary Project Management Software. Google Tracker & Smartsheet experience a plus
Work is performed in a general office environment. Repetitive finger/hand/forearm motion necessary for completing daily work assignments. Near visual acuity, talking, listening required.
The work environment can be fast paced and demanding at times; however, structured processes and team support are in place to promote success.
Travel within the United States necessary when needed
