Responsibilities

Plan, execute, and close projects according to deadlines and within budget. Conduct detailed site surveys and design advanced cabling systems. Prepare detailed Bill of Materials, Statements of Work, and proposal documents. Deliver technical presentations to clients and stakeholders. Collaborate with Account Executives to pursue and acquire new business opportunities. Understand customer challenges and objectives to provide tailored solutions. Estimate labor and material requirements accurately for each project. Ensure projects are implemented according to labor and material estimates. Provide project foremen with detailed implementation information. Coordinate work crews and resolve scheduling conflicts. Manage material procurement and delivery to project sites efficiently. Track and document changes in project scope with approved change orders. Stay updated on industry changes and standards. Ensure quality and customer satisfaction in project installations. Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation. Communicate project status and updates to stakeholders and team members. Manage project budgets and ensure financial targets are met.

Qualifications

Proven experience as a Project Manager with a strong understanding of project management methodologies and tools. Strong leadership and team management skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to run ERP reports. Experience working with small telecommunication components such as fiber optic strands and small gauge copper wire. Ability to distinguish different colors of small conductor wire and fiber optic strands. Intermediate proficiency in spreadsheet and word processing software. Ability to read and interpret blueprints for designing cable plant configurations. Thorough knowledge of physical plants, building structures, electrical and structural codes, and routing conditions for cabling. Low voltage experience is required. High school diploma or equivalent required. Minimum of two years of college-level courses, preferably in computer sciences or business areas. For those with minimum educational requirements, a minimum of three years of direct industry-related work experience is required. PMP certification is a plus.
