General Description:

This position organizationally falls under the Information Technology Director of the Kickapoo Tribal Health Center as operated by the Kickapoo Tribe of Oklahoma. Working hours are Monday through Friday, 8:00 A.M. to 5:00 P.M. or as may be needed to provide assistance to associated programs to better serve the needs of the population. The purpose of this position involves leading and overseeing the planning, execution, and completion of Electronic Health Record (EHR) system implementation. Key responsibilities include developing detailed project plans, managing budgets and timelines, coordinating cross-functional teams and vendors, facilitating communication, and ensuring the project aligns with organizational goals. Also manage risks, track project performance, and handle project documentation. Performance of these duties are in support of the Tribal Health Center mission to ensure the highest quality of patient care in an economically sound and efficient manner.

Work Experience and/or Education:

Bachelor's Degree in Healthcare Administration, Information Systems, or related field
Proven project management experience, preferably 3+ years in a healthcare setting with a focus on EHR implantation or large-scale application migrations
Familiarity with various EHR systems (e.g. Epic, Cerner, Athenahealth) and healthcare IT standards
Strong leadership, communication, problem-solving, and organization skills
Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills

Requirements:

Must have a clean OSBI background clearance.
