The Project Manager will play a pivotal role in driving process improvements, managing risks, and facilitating stakeholder engagement to achieve strategic objectives.
Duties
Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of projects utilizing appropriate project management methodologies such as PMBOK, SAFe, and PRINCE2.
Develop comprehensive project plans including scope management, schedule management using tools like MS Project or Primavera P6, and budget control.
Facilitate requirements gathering sessions and perform requirements analysis to define project scope and objectives clearly.
Manage project schedules, resource allocation, and cost control to ensure timely completion within budget constraints.
Conduct risk management activities including root cause analysis and contingency planning to mitigate potential issues.
Oversee program development and program management activities to align multiple projects with organizational strategy.
Utilize project management software such as Jira, Trello, Confluence, Smartsheet, or ServiceNow for task tracking and documentation.
Implement quality management practices including Six Sigma and Kaizen principles to enhance process efficiency.
Lead cross-functional teams through project lifecycle phases--initiation, planning, execution, monitoring & controlling, and closing--using tools like Visio or SharePoint for process mapping and documentation.
Facilitate meetings with stakeholders to ensure alignment on project goals; negotiate scope changes; manage conflicts effectively.
Monitor project performance using earned value management techniques; report progress through dashboards and presentations for executive review.
Manage vendor relationships and IT infrastructure components related to projects; oversee contracts and vendor deliverables.
Promote continuous improvement initiatives by applying Lean principles and fostering a culture of innovation within teams.
