Job Description

The Project Manager role involves overseeing construction projects from start to finish, ensuring timely completion and adherence to quality standards. This position requires a detail-oriented professional with strong organizational skills and the ability to lead teams effectively.

  • Manage all phases of construction projects, from planning to execution and delivery.
  • 80%-90% of projects will be in the federal space.
  • 5 days in office per week.
  • 1-2 project visits per quarter.
  • Develop project timelines, budgets, and resource plans to ensure successful outcomes.
  • Coordinate with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams to maintain clear communication.
  • Monitor project progress and address any challenges or delays proactively.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company standards at all times.
  • Prepare and present project reports to stakeholders, highlighting key metrics and achievements.
  • Lead and mentor project teams to ensure alignment with project goals.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements to enhance project efficiency.

A successful Project Manager should have:
  • A solid understanding of construction project management principles and practices.
  • Experience with larger federal projects at a general contractor
  • 8-10+ years of project management experience.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage teams and stakeholders effectively.
  • Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proficiency in project management software and tools.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, to collaborate with diverse teams.
