Job Description

Work on a variety of education, institutional and commercial construction projects throughout Kansas City area. Our client is an established design-build general contractor who is looking to bring on an experienced Project Manager to help oversee these projects and their teams.

  • Oversee construction projects from initiation to completion, ensuring timely delivery and budget adherence.
  • Coordinate with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution.
  • Develop detailed project plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.
  • Monitor project progress and address any issues or delays effectively.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and safety standards.
  • Prepare and present project status reports to stakeholders.
  • Build strong relationships with clients to understand their needs and exceed expectations.
  • Utilize project management tools and methodologies to optimize processes and outcomes.

A successful Project Manager should have:
  • A strong background in project management, specifically within the construction sector.
  • Degree in Construction Management or Civil Engineering preferred, not required
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in the construction industry on complex projects
  • Knowledge of a wide range of construction materials, methods, and techniques.
  • Must be capable of reading and comprehending blueprints and specifications for institutional, commercial and industrial projects.
  • Ability to develop Relationships with key stakeholder, such as owners, subcontractors, project managers, field employees

They are currently seeking an experienced Project Manager to join their team, overseeing education and commercial projects, and mentoring a talented group of Project Engineers, Assistant Project Managers, and Project Managers.
  • Competitive base salary ranging from $100,000 - $130,000
