Job Overview


The Project Manager -is responsible for identifying customer needs, driving sales by understanding customer problems, and proposing effective products and accurate quotes. In this role, you will assist with bid preparation, material takeoffs, and coordination of commercial doors, frames, and hardware projects. You will also help track technician time and support scheduling for assigned projects and other national clients. We are seeking someone who is detail-oriented, organized, and eager to grow in Division 8 estimating while supporting both field and office operations.

Assist with material takeoffs, estimates, vendor quotes, and bid packages. Maintain pricing records, bid logs, and support submittals and RFIs. Review project scopes and assist with procurement tracking. Review bid requests, specifications, and drawings to ensure technical compability and competitiveness. Maintain broad knowledge of product offerings to support customer inquiries. Answer customer calls and resolve questions/concerns with relevant and timely information. Participate in educational opportunites to enhance product group knowledge. Provide customer feedback to team leaders Collaborate with internal teams to address customer needs. Project manages orders to align with customer timelines and deliver on promises. Manage and coordinate internal and external logistics. Manage and track vendor material. Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications



2+ years of customer service experience or equivalent: experience in the construction building, hardware, storefront, metal doors or door fabrication industry is preferred. High School Diploma or equivalent; associate or bachelor's degree is a plus. Ability to read and interpret drawings and specifications. Knowledge of general pricing strategies, margins, and negotiation skills. General understanding of doors and hardware systems. Spanish speaking abilitity is a plus. Excellent verbal and written communication skills Ability to work independentily and prioritize tasks with deadlines. Strong time management and organizational skills. Critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $55,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
