Position Overview

Our Client is seeking a skilled
Project Manager
to oversee the organization, planning, and execution of commercial construction projects involving doors, frames, and hardware. This role plays a key part in maintaining strong customer relationships and ensuring each project is delivered accurately, efficiently, and to specification.
Key Responsibilities
------------------------
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Lead cross-functional teams to ensure assigned projects are completed on time, within scope, and with precision.
Outline tasks and deliverables required for each project and delegate appropriately.
Conduct cost analyses and provide accurate cost estimates.
Develop and manage project budgets based on estimates.
Perform risk assessments, identify issues, and recommend mitigation strategies -- including project termination when necessary.
Address customer questions, concerns, and issues throughout the project lifecycle.
Serve as a liaison between the company, clients, and vendors to ensure smooth communication.
Collaborate with sales and marketing to provide training and information that supports promoting and selling new initiatives.
Ensure compliance with all applicable industry standards, federal and state regulations, contractual guidelines, and company best practices.
Prepare detailed submittals and shop drawings using DFH software (Our Client uses Comsense).
Handle revisions, change orders, job site meetings, and related project adjustments as needed.
Perform additional duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
--------------------------
3+ years of experience in the Door, Frame, and Hardware industry.
Bachelor's degree or technical degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field (preferred).
DHI certifications are a plus.
Experience with Comsense software strongly preferred.
Solid knowledge of door hardware, hollow metal, wood doors, STC, FSC, and LEED requirements.
Understanding of building codes relevant to door, frame, and hardware applications, including fire codes, windstorm, ADA, life safety, and general commercial construction compliance.
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, Adobe, and familiarity with CAD tools.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and specification documents.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Strong customer-focused mindset; friendly, respectful, and professional demeanor.
Analytical thinker with solid problem-solving abilities.
Highly organized, detail-oriented, and effective at managing time and priorities.
Collaborative team player.
