We're seeking a proactive and experienced Janitorial Project Manager to lead our cleaning operations with excellence. This is a hands-on leadership role where you'll oversee daily janitorial activities, act as the primary point of contact for our client, and inspire a team of custodians to deliver top-tier service.


Monday - Friday: 7:00 am - 3:30 pm, occasional nights and weekends required as needed.




Operational Oversight




Manage daily cleaning schedules and ensure all tasks are completed to standard Conduct routine inspections of facilities to ensure cleanliness and safety compliance Monitor inventory and order supplies as needed Coordinate with vendors for equipment maintenance and repairs

Client Relations




Serve as the primary point of contact for the client, addressing concerns and requests promptly Provide regular updates and reports to the client on service performance Collaborate with client representatives to align cleaning services with expectations

Team Leadership




Recruit, onboard, and train janitorial staff on cleaning procedures, safety protocols, and company policies Lead by example--actively participate in cleaning tasks when needed Schedule shifts, manage time-off requests, and ensure adequate coverage Conduct performance evaluations and provide coaching and feedback Foster a positive, respectful, and productive team environment

Quality Assurance & Compliance




Implement and enforce health, safety, and sanitation standards Maintain documentation for inspections, training, and incident reports Ensure compliance with OSHA and other regulatory requirements

What You'll Need:




Minimum of (2) years' supervisory or team lead experience. Minimum of (3) years of experience in Janitorial or facilities management. Proficiency with Microsoft Office products (Teams, Outlook, Excel). Strong understanding of commercial cleaning techniques, equipment, and chemicals Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Knowledge of health and safety regulations related to cleaning, including OSHA standards. Ability to meet strict deadlines and client expectations. Must have a valid driver's license Valid RealID

Familiarity with green cleaning practices and sustainability initiatives. Ability to use active listening techniques to understand the team concerns and client needs. Professional demeanor when interacting with clients, vendors, and staff. Conflict resolution skills to mediate disputes and maintain a positive work environment. Quick decision-making in response to unexpected issues or emergencies. Resourcefulness in managing supplies, schedules, and personnel efficiently.

Physical & Environmental Demands:




Ability to lift and carry heavy items, such as cleaning supplies (up to 50 pounds). Spend long hours standing and walking during cleaning tasks. Frequently bend, kneel, and crouch to clean floors, surfaces, and restrooms. Perform repetitive tasks, such as sweeping, mopping, and scrubbing. Good hand-eye coordination is required for operating cleaning equipment and tools. Work in various environments, including offices, restrooms, and outdoor areas Possible exposure to heat, cold, rain, or snow while performing outdoor tasks. Use of cleaning chemicals; must follow safety guidelines. Exposure to noise from cleaning equipment and machinery. Reasonable accommodations can be provided.
