Job Description

The Project Manager will act as the primary contact for customers throughout the project lifecycle. Responsibilities include ensuring all technical details and finishes are agreed upon, overseeing the transition to operations for production, attending site meetings, and managing the delivery and installation process. The role also requires budget and timeline management, commissioning of critical systems, and final project close-out including client handover documentation.

  • Serve as the main client contact from order through project close-out
  • Keep customers regularly informed of progress and confirm all project details
  • Coordinate internal handover of project information to the operations/manufacturing teams
  • Organize and participate in pre-start and site meetings, particularly for larger projects
  • Monitor production schedules and delivery timelines, updating customers as needed
  • Attend first day of installation on larger projects to ensure correct delivery of scope
  • Conduct additional site visits as required during the installation phase
  • Manage commissioning and client sign-off of critical systems such as anti-barricade doors and alarms
  • Coordinate post-project documentation and handover packs for client use
  • Maintain project budgets and schedules to ensure successful delivery

Qualifications & Skills
  • Proven project management experience in construction, manufacturing, or building products
  • Strong organizational and communication skills with attention to detail
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and project specifications
  • Experience managing multiple projects and stakeholders simultaneously
  • Familiarity with project management software/tools
  • Full driving license preferred
Desirable
  • Experience within commercial fit-out, construction product manufacturing, or specialist systems
  • Knowledge of commissioning and handover processes
  • Formal project management certification (e.g., PRINCE2, PMP) or construction-related qualification
