Job Summary
Setterlin Building Company is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead and manage commercial construction projects from award through final completion. Our Project Managers play a key role in coordinating project planning, cost control, quality, safety, and client relationships to ensure successful delivery of high-quality structures throughout Central and Southern Ohio.
Key Responsibilities
Lead overall project management for commercial construction projects ranging from $1M-$20M
Oversee project setup, scheduling, cost tracking, documentation, and closeout
Coordinate and supervise project teams including Superintendents, engineers, and subcontractors
Maintain strong relationships with owners, architects, engineers, and trade partners
Monitor project progress, budgets, manpower, material needs, and schedule performance
Review and approve subcontractor work, change orders, RFIs, submittals, and project logs
Identify and resolve issues to keep the project on schedule and within budget
Ensure compliance with Setterlin policies, safety standards, and contract requirements
Support business development efforts and represent Setterlin professionally with clients
Provide direction to the Superintendent and ensure effective on-site management
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or related field
10+ years of commercial construction project management experience
Proven track record managing projects between $1M and $20M
Strong leadership, communication, and team coordination skills
Ability to manage multiple tasks, priorities, and deadlines
Strong knowledge of cost control, scheduling, construction methods, and safety standards
Proficiency with construction management software and Microsoft Office
Reliable transportation and willingness to visit job sites in Central and Southern Ohio
Stable employment history demonstrating commitment and reliability
Preferred Qualifications
Experience supervising subcontractors and managing trade contractor performance
Experience with project forecasting, financial tracking, and change management
Ability to identify risk and implement corrective measures
Experience in client-facing roles and business development exposure
