Overview


Victory Energy (VEO) is seeking an experienced and motivated Project Manager (PM) to join our dynamic team. In this role the successful candidate will manage both Firetube and Industrial Boiler projects and is responsible for the contract scope, budgeted profit/loss, contract schedule and customer relations for the assigned projects.

In fulfilling this responsibility, the Project Manager plans, organizes and manages project execution according to established project execution processes.

Specific actions taken by the PM during different phases of a project are outlined below. If any required actions cannot be performed or resolved in a timely manner, the PM shall escalate the action to the next highest level of management. This role requires a strong leadership with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.

Essential Job Qualifications:



B.S. degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering or equivalent technical experience as listed below. 5-10 years' proven experience in project execution. 3+ year's relevant experience in the utility/process industry (refineries, power industry) Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively. Proficient in time management techniques to meet tight deadlines. Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal. Ability to represent the company before customers. PMP Certification a plus. Pressure vessel and combustion experience preferred.

Project Initiation Phase



o Works with Sales for smooth hand over of the project.

o Works with various business units and organizes the Project Team.

o Prepares and issues the Project Execution Plan (PEP), including schedule, after discussions with various business units.

o Holds customer and internal kick-off meetings.

Project Execution Phase



o Responsible for customer interface and customer satisfaction.

o Responsible for scope management.

o Responsible for project schedules and costs.

o Monitors technical performance including design reviews with VEO Engineering Team and Engineering/Technology deliverables.

o Oversees procurement/fabrication, approves major purchases.

o Monitors shipping and delivery.

o Ensures effective project communications.

o Responsible for resolution of back charges on a prompt basis.

o Mentors Project Team.

o Responsible for Risk Management including identification analysis and response.

o Process budget variance reports, including mitigation plan.

o Initiates and approves outsourcing or subcontracting (as applicable).

o Manage the major suppliers/vendors and subtractors, holding them accountable to their contractual commitments to VEO.

o Initiates and coordinates with VEO Field Services Team.

o Monitors resolution of field problems, and back charges.

o Monitors the start-up and testing process.

o Responsible for contract closeout.

o Oversees Warranty coverage.

o Responsible for initiating timely customer invoicing and customer payments.

Leadership - Ability to inspire teamwork and high morale; constructively influence the performance of others; able to obtain results through others; ability to solve problems and make decisions within the scope of authority.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $90,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
