The Project Manager is responsible for taking a job from handshake to handoff. This role owns planning, coordination, communication, and execution across excavation, civil construction, site prep, utilities, and specialty Full Tilt projects. They ensure crews have what they need, customers stay informed, and the work stays on schedule, on spec, and on time.

Core Responsibilities
Project Planning & Coordination
Build project plans, schedules, and resource allocations for excavation and construction jobs.
Coordinate with estimators, superintendents, foremen, and subcontractors.
Review plans, specs, and change orders; identify conflicts early.
Ensure equipment, trucks, materials, and manpower are lined out ahead of schedule.
Field Leadership & Execution
Conduct site visits before, during, and after construction phases.
Support foremen with daily goals, sequencing, and problem-solving.
Ensure safety protocols, environmental requirements, and quality standards are followed.
Track production, verify quantities, and adjust plans as needed.
Customer & Stakeholder Communication
Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, inspectors, engineers, and GC partners.
Provide updates, progress reports, and schedule adjustments.
Represent Full Tilt with professionalism and clarity--no surprises, no excuses.
Budget, Documentation & Controls
Monitor job costs, production rates, and material usage.
Approve invoices, track change orders, and maintain project documentation.
Work with accounting to ensure accurate billing and timely closeout.
Identify opportunities to increase efficiency and protect margins.
Quality & Closeout
Ensure work meets Full Tilt standards and project specifications.
Coordinate punch lists, inspections, and final walkthroughs.
Deliver clean, complete, and documented project closeouts.
Required Skills & Experience
3-5+ years in construction, excavation, civil, or related project management.
Strong understanding of sitework, utilities, grading, and heavy equipment operations.
Ability to read plans, interpret specs, and communicate technical details clearly.
Proven leadership with field crews and subcontractors.
Competent with project management software, spreadsheets, and documentation.
Valid driver's license; ability to travel to job sites.
