General Engineering Contractor located in San Francisco is seeking an Experienced Project Manager/Engineer - (5 years). We are a fast-growing Public Works Contractor in the San Francisco area. Projects will take you all over the Bay Area. The correct candidate must have experience working with Public Agencies, participation, and active involvement in the bid process. Reading and understanding contract documents and specifications. Attending all pre-bid, bid award, project completion, inspection job walks including conference calls, routine field visits etc. Scheduling project in logical steps, and budget time required to meet deadlines. Conferring with supervisory personnel, engineers, inspectors, contractors, and officials to discuss and resolve matters such as work procedures, complaints, and installation problems. Manage direct & indirect costs, revenues, timelines, and margins. Develop trusting relationships with customers, vendors, and contractors. Computer literate and experienced with T&M, job cost, scheduling software. Other duties as assigned.
