We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Project Manager to oversee and manage construction projects from inception to completion. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in construction management and project coordination, ensuring that projects are completed on time, within scope, and in alignment with quality standards. This role requires effective communication skills, the ability to read blueprints, and expertise in various construction management software.

to oversee residential and light commercial construction projects and lead them from start to finish.

Job Responsibilities



Manage all phases of construction projects -- scheduling, budgeting, and communication Coordinate with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams Ensure quality control and adherence to timelines Read and interpret blueprints and project specifications Oversee site safety and compliance

Qualifications



3+ years of construction management experience preferred Strong leadership and organizational skills Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities Knowledge of construction methods and building codes Proficiency in project management software is a plus

Duties



Lead project planning sessions to define project scope, objectives, and deliverables. Coordinate with architects, engineers, and subcontractors to ensure project specifications are met. Utilize construction management software such as ProCore, Primavera P6, and HeavyBid for project scheduling and tracking. Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress and address any issues that arise on-site. Prepare and manage construction estimates using tools like Bluebeam and Civil 3D. Oversee contract negotiations and ensure compliance with all contractual obligations. Manage project timelines effectively while maintaining quality standards through diligent time management practices. Facilitate communication between stakeholders to ensure alignment on project goals and expectations. Review schematics and blueprints to provide guidance during the construction process.

Qualifications



Proven experience in project management within the construction industry is essential. Familiarity with construction estimating techniques and tools such as HeavyBid is preferred. Proficiency in construction management software including ProCore, Primavera P6, Civil 3D, and Bluebeam is highly desirable. Strong understanding of project scheduling methodologies and practices. Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively. Demonstrated experience with contracts and contract negotiation processes. Ability to read blueprints and schematics accurately is required. Previous experience on construction sites is a plus, providing practical insights into project execution challenges.
