What You will Do:
Implement software change requests and test software to verify changes.
Fix software defects and test software on simulators to verify solutions. Perform sanity tests on software builds.
Be involved in coding, preparation of unit test conditions, and Unit & Integration Testing.
Provide application support for any engineering release issues. Participate actively in code reviews.
Collaborate with software Verification and Validation (V&V) Engineer to validate software.
Collaborate with different Systems Engineering teams and provide the software needed to support their respective subsystem requires.
Attend project status meetings, provide assignment updates, and take assignment updates from the reportees.
Provide engineering expertise support related to the project to the reportees, and take assignment updates from the reportees.

What You Will Bring:
Master's degree (or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field, PLUS one (1) year of experience in the job offered or a related position.
Experience must include demonstrable knowledge of: Embedded C and C++ programming; device driver development; low-level HAL code; I2C; SPI; UART; CAN; QNX; Linux; unit test cases using GTestframework; Git version control; CI/CD tools; Jenkins; writing technical software design documents, and SDLC with agile methodology.
Required knowledge may be gained prior to or concurrently with master's degree.
Any suitable combination of education, training, or experience is acceptable. Supervise eight (8) subordinate employees.
Pay Range:
$147,430 - $148,000
Compensation decisions are made based on factors including experience, skills, education, and other job-related factors, in accordance with our internal pay structure. We also offer a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, paid time off, and retirement plan.

: Travel to unanticipated client locations, throughout the U.S., approximately 30% as required
