This Project Engineer role is an office-based position supporting the Senior Project Manager, Project Manager, and Assistant Project Manager on K-12 construction projects. Daily responsibilities include managing project documentation, updating Procore, drafting contracts, and providing essential administrative and technical support to ensure smooth project execution.
The primary responsibilities for this role include:
Office-based role providing daily support to the Senior Project Manager, Project Manager, and Assistant Project Manager depending on project size.
Work primarily on K-12 commercial construction projects with exposure to all aspects of project delivery.
Manage and organize project documentation, upload and track items in Procore, and assist with drafting and processing contracts.
Play a key role in supporting project operations while gaining hands-on experience to grow into higher-level project management responsibilities.

Successful Candidate Profile
Must Haves:
Minimum of 1 year of construction experience.
Bachelor's degree in a relevant field - or equivalent hands-on industry experience.
Proficiency with Procore for project documentation and tracking.
Strong foundational construction knowledge; open to candidates early in their careers who are highly coachable, eager to learn, and adaptable.
Nice to Haves:
Experience working with steel subcontractors or pre-engineered metal buildings.
Familiarity with Bluebeam for document review and markups.
Prior exposure to K-12 or municipal projects.
Experience supporting preconstruction, change orders, and punch list management.
