The Project Engineer Intern is responsible for supporting the project management and project engineering teams while collaborating with colleagues to complete a project throughout the internship. Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:
Completing jobsite documentation (RFIs, change orders, ASIs, supplemental design documentation, QA/QC, submittals, etc.)
Managing jobsite logistics, including office supplies and badging/orientation paperwork
Coordinating deliveries of equipment and materials
Assisting with assembling estimates and budgets
Supporting subcontractor and vendor management
Attending project meetings and preparing meeting notes as needed
Writing and tracking purchase orders and subcontracts
Assisting with craft productivity tracking
Skills and Qualifications
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Ability to learn and apply technical concepts quickly
Strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task and meet deadlines
Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment
Ability to collaborate professionally with colleagues, customers, and suppliers
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel and Project)
Education and Experience
Pursuing a bachelor's degree, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
