Job Description

Join a leading Milwaukee general contractor as a Project Engineer supporting K-12 and higher education construction projects across Wisconsin. You'll play a key role in project documentation, coordination, and field support - building the foundation for a fast-track path toward Project Management.

  • Project Coordination | Support project managers and superintendents with daily operations and logistics.
  • Documentation | Prepare RFIs, submittals, change orders, and project meeting minutes.
  • Schedule Tracking | Monitor project timelines, critical path milestones, and field progress.
  • Cost Management | Assist with budgeting, procurement, and pay applications.
  • Quality Control | Oversee material inspections and compliance with project specs.
  • Safety & Communication | Uphold safety standards and ensure clear communication across teams.

  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field.
  • 1-4 years of commercial construction experience, ideally in educational builds.
  • Strong organizational and documentation skills.
  • Proficiency in Procore, Bluebeam, or similar construction software.
  • Collaborative mindset with a desire to learn and grow within a high-performing team
