Position Summary



The Project Coordinator is responsible for ensuring that schedules are kept, change orders are written, and requests for information are documented.



Essential Duties and Responsibilities


Works directly under the Site Project Manager and is responsible for helping ensure the project is successful. Prepare and maintain an authorization to proceed document for approval and payment. Handle incoming and outgoing Requests for Information questions. Review schedule to track progress. Review time sheets to ensure hours are charged to the correct phase codes. Requisition the material needed to support the schedule of erection. Track progress of work and update weekly progress reports. The ability to work overtime and regular, punctual attendance is required.

Qualifications



Bachelor's Degree in Engineering/Construction Management is preferred and/or a minimum of 3 to 4 years' experience with steel erection or industrial millwright. Should be familiar with AISC and building code requirements. Must be detail oriented and familiar with systems both manual and electronic. Must have excellent oral/written communication skills. Must be mathematically and computer literate. Must be proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and Project/Primavera P6.



Physical Demands



Overtime is required as needed. Must be able to lift at least 50 pounds on occasion. All of the physical demands listed are essential functions.
