We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Project Coordinator to join our Low Voltage Division. This vital role involves orchestrating the planning, execution, and oversight of low voltage electrical projects, ensuring seamless communication between teams, clients, and vendors. As a Project Coordinator, you will be the linchpin in coordinating resources, tracking project progress, and maintaining high standards of safety and quality. Your proactive approach and technical knowledge will drive project success from inception to completion, fostering a collaborative environment that delivers exceptional results.

Duties

Coordinate project schedules, timelines, and deliverables to ensure timely completion of low voltage installations and service projects. Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, vendors, and field technicians, facilitating clear communication and efficient problem-solving. Assist in reviewing project schematics, technical drawings, and equipment specifications to support installation planning. Track project progress using computer software tools, updating documentation regularly to reflect current status. Support field service teams by providing technical guidance on the use of hand tools and equipment repair procedures. Ensure all work complies with safety standards related to low voltage systems and electrical codes. Monitor inventory levels of tools, parts, and materials needed for ongoing projects; coordinate procurement as necessary. Conduct site inspections to verify adherence to project plans and troubleshoot issues using equipment such as ohmmeters and other testing devices. Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, service reports, schematics interpretations, and equipment repairs. Assist in scheduling routine maintenance for low voltage systems and coordinate emergency repairs when needed. Support the team in understanding mechanical aspects of low voltage infrastructure through basic mechanical knowledge.

Requirements

Proven experience in field service roles involving low voltage systems or as a service technician with hands-on experience using hand tools and testing devices like ohmmeters. MUST HAVE Low-Voltage Experience (understand devices, wiring, hardware and field workflow) Familiarity with reading schematics, technical drawings, and computer hardware related to low voltage installations. Strong mechanical knowledge relevant to equipment repair and maintenance tasks. Experience working with computer networking concepts pertinent to low voltage systems is preferred. Ability to interpret technical schematics accurately and troubleshoot electrical issues effectively. Demonstrated ability to utilize hand tools safely and efficiently during installation or repair activities. Excellent organizational skills with the capacity to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail. Effective communication skills for coordinating between team members, clients, and vendors. Knowledge of safety protocols specific to low voltage electrical work is essential. Basic proficiency with computer software used for project tracking and documentation management. Pay: $75,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
