Job Description

The Project Coordinator will support the day-to-day operations of project planning, execution, and monitoring of manufacturing-related projects. They will prioritize tasks, submit documents and communicate across departments to ensure timely and cost-effective project delivery. The Project Coordinator is responsible for meeting deadlines to help ensure projects are completed on time and within budget and scope.



MAJOR DUTIES:



Assist project managers with the entire life of the project (from initiation to closure) Ensure projects are set up with the deliverables needed within each department, such as jobs, shop orders, and purchase order documents Perform computer-based tasks to support customer interaction and documentation Prepare, submit, upload, and track documentation per contract data requirements keeping records current, organized, and following up on deadlines and re-submissions. Support compliance with ISO or other regulatory standards by maintaining relevant records and following company procedures. Maintain accurate documentation, including following customer purchase orders, change orders, deliverables, and reference documents. Assist in assigning project tasks to relevant parties and checking in for status updates Report project outcomes and/or risks to the appropriate management channels as needed--escalating issues as necessary based on project work plans Act as a point of communication between various stakeholders involved in the project Collect best practices and develop lessons learned to mature project management process Other duties as assigned



EXPERiENCE PREFERRED/QUALIFCATIONS:


Associates degree or experience in business or related field is a plus 1+years of project management support experience Experience working in the maritime or manufacturing industry is a strong plus Intermediate skills in Microsoft Office suite with emphasis on Word, Outlook, Excel, and Projects Hands-on experience working under pressure and meeting deadlines. Strong written, verbal, and presentation skills Strong organizational skills, including multitasking and time-management Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team Willingness and ability to quickly learn different web-based programs
