About the Position

The Cortland LGBTQ+ Center, a division of Family & Children's Counseling Services, is seeking a full-time

Project Coordinator

to lead community outreach, education, and wellness initiatives. The Center provides a safe, inclusive space that promotes connection, empowerment, and support for the LGBTQ+ community.

Key Responsibilities

Coordinate all programs and operations of the LGBTQ Center in alignment with the Department of Health work plan. Plan, deliver, and evaluate community outreach, educational workshops, and special events. Develop and implement activities that promote health, wellness, and positive social engagement for LGBTQ+ individuals. Prepare and submit required reports to supervisors and funders. Collaborate with local organizations and community partners. Work occasional evenings and weekends; travel within Cortland County (and occasionally nearby areas).

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in a related field (required). Minimum two years of relevant experience. Supervisory experience required. Experience collaborating with community-based organizations. Knowledge of LGBTQ+ issues, organizations, and resources. Professional experience in LGBTQ+ advocacy, education, or community work.

Pay: $50,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year
