Job Description

The Project Coordinator supports the planning, execution, and completion of projects by providing administrative, logistical, and communication support to project managers and cross-functional teams. This role is responsible for maintaining project documentation, tracking tasks, and ensuring timely updates to stakeholders. The Project Coordinator works closely with team members to help keep projects organized, on schedule, and aligned with company goals, while gaining valuable exposure to project management best practices.



Position Responsibilities may include:


Assist in the creation and maintenance of project schedules, timelines, and task lists.

Support the preparation of project documentation, reports, and meeting materials.

Coordinate and schedule project meetings, take meeting notes, and follow up on action items.

Track project progress and update status reports under the guidance of the project manager.

Maintain project files and ensure all documentation is organized and accessible.

Communicate with team members and stakeholders to relay updates and gather information.

Assist with data entry, budget tracking, and other administrative project tasks.

Learn and apply basic project management tools, processes, and terminology.

Participate in additional projects/activities to support ongoing business needs


Nature & Scope o Works within well-defined instructions


Uses established procedures and works under supervision to perform assigned tasks

Work is closely supervised


Knowledge & Skills:


Working knowledge of construction and / or building codes

Excellent MS Office skills, specifically Visio, Word and Excel

Must be able to read blueprints/drawings and recreate and make changes to them in Visio and CAD

Excellent written and verbal skills

Ability to interact with all levels of management

Ability to multi-task high volume workload and prioritize as needed

Self-motivated team player with ability to adjust to constant change

Management experience in high volume environment

Capable of managing workload and succeeding in a very fast paced environment


Experience:


0-2 years of relevant work experience; internship or volunteer project experience a plus.


Education/Certification:


High School diploma or GED equivalent.


People Management: No

Compensation: $18.64 - $23.31 Hourly
