Role Summary
This position partners with Project Management to analyze project budgets, schedules, and operational performance, exercising independent judgment to identify trends, risks, and potential impacts. The role develops management-level analyses and recommendations to support informed decision-making and proactive project controls.
This position is structured as a hybrid role, with approximately 50% remote work and 50% onsite presence at project locations or company facilities, based on project and business needs.
Prequalification's
Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university in Construction Management, Engineering, or Building Science, or
A minimum of three (3) years of experience in heavy industrial or construction field roles
Required Skills / Abilities:
Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish, with the ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in both languages
Strong organizational and analytical skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced project environment
High attention to detail and accuracy, particularly with budgets, schedules, documentation, and compliance requirements
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to prepare management-level reports and recommendations
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel (data analysis, tracking, formulas), Word, and Outlook
Ability to work within project management, cost tracking, and document control systems
Strong time-management skills with the ability to prioritize competing project needs
Ability to exercise independent judgment and escalate material risks appropriately
Key Responsibilities:

Provide oversight of project financial, schedule, and scope performance, identifying risks and performance trends
Analyze project budgets, forecasts, and cost trends and develop proactive control strategies to protect margins
Establish and implement project-specific controls to ensure work is executed within approved scope, budget, and schedule
Authorize and manage change management processes, including reviewing, approving, and issuing change orders within delegated authority
Oversee procurement and material management activities to ensure alignment with project budgets and schedules
Direct coordination with field teams, mechanics, and subcontractors to resolve issues impacting project performance
Interpret and administer contracts, scopes of work, and construction drawings to identify exposure and scope changes
Assess schedule impacts and direct corrective actions in collaboration with Project Management
Serve as a strategic advisor to Project Managers by providing recommendations related to cost, schedule, and risk mitigation
Prepare management-level and executive-level reports to support Operations leadership decision-making
Ensure compliance with company policies, client requirements, and applicable regulatory standards
Identify, evaluate, and escalate material project risks affecting cost, schedule, or contractual obligations
Notify leadership of potential safety hazards and support corrective actions as needed
Be professional and courteous in dealings with customers, vendors, and internal teams
Follow all Company policies and procedures
Position Type, Travel, and Work Schedule:
Full-time position
Hybrid work environment: Approximately 50% remote and 50% onsite, depending on project requirements
Typical work schedule is Monday through Saturday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
Additional hours and weekend work may be required based on project needs
Travel, including overnight stays, is required
