About

Farris Concepts in Architecture PC was started in 1995 by Ron D. Farris to provide residential design services that are responsive to client goals and objectives. We have tailored the firm size and staff experience to ensure personalized service is provided throughout the entire project. We strive to achieve functional, well-proportioned designs that allow for graceful modern living. Our work primarily occurs in Nashville, TN, but we have project all over the U.S.. Our homes have been featured in Southern Home, Traditional Home, Sophisticated Living, and other notable publications.

Responsibilities

Work in a collaborative team environment, assisting in the development and production of schematic design, design development, and design details and construction documents.

Delegate assignments to support intern architects.

Work closely with principal architect.

Attend meetings both in-office and on-site.

Communicate with consultants such as landscape architects, interior designers, and contractors to maintain coordination between stakeholders.

Qualifications

Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Architecture, or a closely related field

Licensed architect

2-5+ years of experience in architecture

2-3+ years of AutoCAD experience required

Sketch-Up and Lumion are desirable, but not required
