We are looking for a Project Architect to work for one of our clients, a civil engineering firm. We have multiple positions available in either their NYC or Eastern Long Island offices. This is a permanent, full-time job. In this role you will be responsible for developing and executing architectural design work, as well as coordinating efforts of in-house and outside teams who handle structural engineering, MEP design, civil and environmental engineering services. The ideal candidate would have 5+ years\xe2\x80\x99 experience in architectural design, CAD production and document coordination. RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Manage projects that are focused on the design, planning and construction of Mechanical (HVAC), Electrical, Plumbing systems across several market sectors.
- Plan, manage, and coordinate projects at different phases to ensure project initiatives and timelines are met.
- Coordinate with other technical divisions within the firm, as well as external groups/professionals to include subcontractors/advisors, contractors and clients.
- Plan, initiate, monitor and control, single and multi-discipline design projects for infrastructure and building programs in the tri-state region, ranging in size from $100K to multi million dollars; duration varies and can range from months to years.
- Initiate project by defining project scope, determining action items, assigning ownership-obtaining team buy-in, creating project timetables, and tracking execution and workflow; prepares, presents, and distributes project status reports.
- Develop PM specific standard operating procedures [SOPs] as necessary to drive consistency of project delivery.
