About this Position
Community MT helps Montana communities offer safe, efficient and quality public facilities, including streets, water and sewer services, schools, health care facilities and social services facilities, creating a vibrant economy and job opportunities.
This position will remain open until filled. With first review date 11/07/2025.
Qualifications
What are we looking for?
Education and Experience:
A Bachelor's Degree in Public Administration, Business Administration or Management.
Previous experience working with Boards
Grant management and administration
Project management
Alternate combinations of education and experience will be considered on a case-by-case basis.

Knowledge of:
Roberts Rules of Order
General math competencies
General Report writing, deciphering complex information and propose solutions
Public speaking norms
Effective communication skills
Contract management
State and federal regulations and laws
Ability to:
Perform in a public speaking setting (in front of Boards and general public attendance)
Apply and understand Montana Code Annotated and applicable statutes
Adhere to program standards and processes
Develop professional relationships with Board members, local government officials, project representatives and other funding agency representatives
Coordinate meetings and medium size group functions (tours, site visits, etc.)
Analyze application materials submitted by local government and consultants
Coordinate and manage multiple projects with varying timeframes, priorities and challenges

This position allows for a hybrid work schedule from a remote location within the State of Montana. Weekly travel to Helena offices will be required. Specific conditions will be outlined as part of the job offer and must adhere to state policy. New Employees may be required to complete training in person before hybrid work schedules begin.
